In the fall, I and my dear friend Richelle, of Pots Floral, were excited to be able to attend The Bloom Workshop at Hydrangea Blu Barn near Grand Rapids! This was a mini workshop called La Petite Bloom, where we were able to learn new crafts and skills such as calligraphy and floristry!

The day started out with yummy fall treats and chatting with the other attendees! Then the insanely talented Molly Jacques taught us all about lettering/calligraphy. And let me tell you – it is so much harder than it looks! 🙂 It was so fun to practice and learn about this unique skill!

Later on, Rhiannon Bosse, of Hey Gorgeous Events, demonstrated her lovely floral-arranging skills. Then we were able choose our own stunning blooms from a flower bar to create our own arrangements!

Finally, we had some sweet headshots taken by the lovely Ashley Slater Photography. Overall, it was a fun day of learning, friendships, and lots of pretty.
